What is Scrutinizr?
An AI-powered data investigation platform. Bring structured data and documents into a workspace, investigate questions, scrutinize findings and create reports with source references.
Which data can I use?
Import TXT, Markdown, CSV, TSV or JSON. PDF, Word, PowerPoint and Excel use configured document extraction. Connect read-only PostgreSQL or import exports from other systems. Current table imports support up to 1,000 rows and 50 columns per snapshot.
How does the AI work?
Deterministic checks calculate numeric summaries, compare records and check quality. Optional configured AI interprets supplied evidence and must cite exact source excerpts. If AI is unavailable, the workspace says so; it does not substitute simulated answers.
What does Scrutinize do?
It rechecks the cited passages and reruns analysis on available snapshots, saving a separate reassessment. An optional independent AI call challenges assumptions and looks for competing explanations. Reproducing a result does not establish causation.
Do I need a website or customer survey?
No. Start with your data and a question. Website research, surveys, interviews and expert help are supporting tools, available when an investigation needs additional evidence.
Does it run autonomous investigations or forecasts?
Current data reviews run bounded source checks and optional AI interpretation. General long-running investigations with pause/resume, cross-source monitoring and advanced forecasting are still being developed.
